„Beddgelert“ was the most unusual loco the original NWNGR used to operate. Not only was it almost twice as powerful as the Vucan Fairlies, it was also the only loco which wasn’t supplied by the Vulcan Foundry. The loco was built by Hunslet in 1878, designed for heavy traffic on the Bryngwyn branch. „Beddgelert“ was withdrawn in 1906 as it was considered beyond economic repair after less than 30 years of service. „Russell“, built by the same company, then took its place. Our model captures the powerful, sturdy looks of the original and provides a surprising amount of detail in such a small scale. All you need to complete the model is the newer style outside framed N Gauge Class 08 chassis and 379-412 coach wheels by Graham Farrish and Product Numbers 4NCP008 and 4NCP014 from RT models.
